Since 1959, Nicolia Ready-Mix has been exceeding the expectations of our customers and our employees as the premier supplier servicing Long Island and Queens.
Plants, fleet and crews — the company’s own films.

Nicolia Ready-Mix was founded in 1959 by Sante Nicolia — the only son of a farmer, born in Frosinone, Italy. Sante came to America by ship with nothing other than high aspirations.
The sacrifices he made on behalf of his family reflect the work ethic that shaped his success. But it was Sante’s charisma and modesty that built a loyal customer base — and his sons worked the business alongside him, the way the family still does today.
Sante Nicolia starts the business in Westbury, supplying Long Island builders.
His sons work the business, and the plant network grows across the Island.
Three generations on. Eight locations, ten plants, 85+ front-discharge mixers, central dispatch.
Single-family residential to mid- and high-rise construction — off the same dispatch board.

Concrete is a commodity. The schedule is the product, and the schedule is people. Drivers, plant operators, dispatchers and quality control — named on the Leadership page, because on a pour day the relationship is with the people who answer the phone.

Call dispatch or send the mix, yardage and delivery window. We will confirm the plant and the pour time.
